The Ai Salon is a community founded in San Francisco to discuss the meaning and impact of AI in our society. We believe that dialogue borne from a vibrant civil society is critical to successfully navigating this transformative moment in human history.

Central to the Ai Salon are our in-person events. The Ai Salon Archive is a distillation of our conversations - we strive to bottle as much of the energy and ideas of the salon as possible! Our posts are our attempt at direct synthesis of the conversation transcripts themselves, and are always made with the support of AI. While we believe many useful insights come up in these conversations, we do not fact-check the claims made or necessarily endorse the arguments put forward. This Archive reflects the conversations to the best of our ability - nothing more, nothing less.
