🌐 Ai Salon Updates
The Ai Salon is in New York City! 🍎🗽We’re excited to bring The Ai Salon to NYC, a tech and AI hub where more AI conversations are much-needed. The Ai Salon NYC Chapter, led by Rupi Sureshkumar, held its first event last week about AI x Personal Impact. Look out for events in NYC and our other 6 chapter cities on our regular calendar.
🤔 Continuing the Conversation
We believe in the power of continuing the conversation, even after the salon finishes. These resources have been hand-picked to help facilitate reflection before/after this month’s events.
This month, The Ai Salon is partnering with Creative Mornings to discuss how AI is impacting the spheres of creativity. The below articles demonstrate the differing opinions that exist in this space:
“Why AI Isn’t Going to Make Art” by Ted Chiang, The New Yorker.
“Ted Chiang is Wrong About AI Art” by Matteo Wong, The Atlantic
“The Real Argument Artists Should be Making Against AI” by Sigal Samuel, Vox Media.
“Sam Altman Defends AI Art” by Effie Webb, Business Insider.
